Before joining the administrative<br />
staff <strong>of</strong> the law school in 1984, she<br />
worked in career services and<br />
taught marketing at Ball State<br />
<strong>University</strong> in Indiana.<br />
Anthony J. Waters,<br />

LL.M., 1974, Yale <strong>University</strong>. Mr.<br />
Waters came to this country from<br />
England in 1972. Before joining<br />
the <strong>Maryland</strong> faculty in 1974, he<br />
was a Bigelow teaching fellow at<br />
the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Chicago <strong>Law</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong>, then a visiting lecturer at<br />
Yale College while completing his<br />
LL.M. at Yale <strong>Law</strong> <strong>School</strong>. Since<br />
then, he has taught as a visiting<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essor at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Santa<br />
Clara, the State <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> New<br />
York at Buffalo and the Northwestern<br />
<strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Law</strong> in Portland,<br />
Oregon. He spent the fall <strong>of</strong> 1977<br />
as a visiting scholar at Yale <strong>Law</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong>. He spent a part <strong>of</strong> the<br />
spring semester <strong>of</strong> 1986 as a visiting<br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> <strong>Law</strong> at the <strong>University</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> Colombo, Sri Lanka. His<br />
main interest is in the common<br />
law subjects, particularly contracts,<br />
and in consumer protection. He<br />
has published, in this country and<br />
in England, in the areas <strong>of</strong> contracts,<br />
criminal law and taxation.<br />
