SEB 7 L
The powerful hand Ex-searchlights SEB 7
and SEB 7 L have been developed for use
in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas and
are in accordance to the ATEX-Directive
94/9/EG.
These powerful hand searchlights have been
developed for inspection and maintenance
duties in the Industry and due to the temperature
class T4, they can be used in nearly
all hazardous areas.
The reflector head can be moved freely to
what ever vertical angle is required. The ergonomics
of the handle has been designed
for single-handed operation even when the
person is wearing safety gloves.
Gas-tight NiCd batteries guarantee a minimum
of maintanance. To assure an uneventful
operation, diodes provide information
on the available operating time during
usage and charging. In the event of a broken
filament or near the end of the battery
capacity, the lamp will automatically switch
over from the main beam to the standby
light. This extra security feature will make
sure that you won´t be left standing in the
dark. The integrated slot in the housing
provides a holder for a maximum of three
slip-on filters.
SEB 7 L:
The battery charger is integrated in the
housing (mains supply 230 V AC), so there
is no need for the housing to be opened up.
SEB 7:
Charging and storage in the battery charger
LG 443 (230 V AC) or in the motor-vehicle
charger 90 (10 – 33 V DC).
Both types have an Emergency Lighting
function: During charging operation, depending
on the switch position, both types will
automatically switch to emergency lighting
if there is a power failure.
Note:
The SEB 7 series in conjunction with the
Kfz 90 does not meet the ATEX-Directive
95/54/EG standard.
