The market matrix helps us remember that all customers are<br />

<strong>Securitas</strong>’ fi nancial control is counted on six fi ngers. A focus<br />

on sales of new contracts, development of the contract<br />

portfolio and total invoicing give us sales growth. Effective<br />

production planning helps us to improve our gross margin.<br />

And control of indirect and administrative expenses helps<br />

us to improve operating income through sales growth.<br />

Lastly, control of accounts receivable and other working<br />

capital provides a boost to cash fl ow.<br />

The value chain<br />

The value chain provides the tools to provide the customer<br />

with a satisfying solution. It helps us to determine how we sell<br />

to various customer groups, how production is organized and<br />

how we cooperate with the customer on a day-to-day basis in<br />

order to ensure quality, precision and continuous adaptation<br />

to changing needs.<br />

Organization<br />

<strong>Securitas</strong> has a fl at and specialized organization. This gives us<br />

a broad, strong base with many strong units. We are close to<br />

customers, and managers are authorized to make their own<br />

decisions and develop their operations. Short decision-making<br />

channels result in quick decisions. By adapting and refi ning<br />

services based on various customer needs, growth and profi tability<br />
