BOOK ONE — INTRODUCTION
Franklin Roosevelt did not merely reflecte a characteristic Jewish viewpoint on
economic 244/ and social 245/ issues; far more, he was actively influenced by that Jewish viewpoint.
Once Roosevelt was inaugurated in to the Office of President, he began “a sweeping series of
legislative changes since the Civil War period.” 246/ It was the beginning of a new government: a
“new deal,” and it was not dealing favorably toward the non-Jewish American people. The ideas
and tactics Roosevelt — no, Roosevelt’s Jewish sidekicks — used were said to be those
“borrowed from the mavericks of the past: from Progressive 247/ tradition of Theodore
Roosevelt 248/ and the La Follettes of Wisconsin, 249/ from the Wilsonian concept of the New
Freedom. 250/ But in no small measure it drew from strenuous preoccupation with social justice 251/
which was formulated by outstanding Jewish liberals.”
* Patricians: persons of high birth or breeding, nobel, or aristocratic; not plebeian:
common, crude, coarse. Webst.Int’l Dict., 2nd ed., pp. 1793, 1888].
244 JEWISH VIEWPOINT ON ECONOMIC ISSUES. The “old saying” goes: “He who has the
gold, rules.” (Ed.).
245 JEWISH VIEWPOINT ON SOCIAL ISSUES. Jews have always been “reforming” and
changing the established social structure (Protocol 1.9, destroyer of the structure); in the process,
the contentment of the common, majority peoples — the non-Jews — were then and are now
disrupted, to “adjust” to the forceful intrusion of an unwelcome people: “The Jews and Their
Lies,” as Martin Luther put it accurately. (Luther’s Works, Vol. 47). And the Jews admit this fact
throughout all their writings. It would require a book of its own, simply to list the sources. (Ed.).
History, p. 334.
247 PROGRESSIVE, defined. [Sources related to “communist `progressive.’” needed].
248 THEODORE ROOSEVELT. Theodore Roosevelt is said to have “appointed Oscar Straus his
Secretary of Commerce and Labor, and admitted privately that if Straus hadn’t been available,
he would have chosen another Jew for the post.” James Yaffe, The American Jews, Portrait of a
Split Personality, Chp. XVI., “Lay Religion,” p. 242.
249 THE LA FOLLETTES OF WISCONSIN. The name of a family of American statesmen:
Robert (“Battling Bob”) Marion L~~, Sr. (1855-1925); Philip Fox La F~~ (1897-1965), his son.
Involved in pro-labor, farm legislation. World Book Encycl., (1973) Vol. 12-L, p. 31.
250 WILSONIAN CONCEPT OF THE NEW FREEDOM. [RESERVED. Wilson’s “New
Freedom” has not yet been researched].
“Wilson pleased because the Jews of America by constantly calling Bernard Baruch to
the White House for consultations.” Yaffe, the American Jews, p. 242. Before Wilson,
“Theodore Roosevelt hailed him [Baruch] as the most able man in the [Wilson] Administration.”
Margaret Coit, Mr. Baruch, The man, the myth, the eighty years (Boston, Houghton Mifflin Co.
1957), Chp. 13, “Politics as usual,” p. 359, citing “Theodore Roosevelt to Moe A. Gunst, Aug.
14, 1917, copy in Baruch’s papers.” Coit, at Notes, p. 731, n. 101.
251 STRENUOUS PREOCCUPATION WITH SOCIAL JUSTICE. In other words, a continuous
and concerted “liberal” attack upon the established powers and institutions, where the end
justifies the means. (Ed.).
