Vallur Thermal Power Project: This project involves the construction of two power projects, being a 2*500<br />

MW and a 3*500 MW thermal power plant at Vallur, Kapada, Tamil Nadu, for NTPC Tamilnadu Energy<br />

Company Limited. This project commenced in February 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in<br />

November 2011. The contract value of this project approximately is Rs.6,627.54 million.<br />

Environment and Pipelines<br />

We undertake the construction and design of water treatment plants, cross-country oil and gas pipelines and water<br />

supply projects for clients in India and overseas, both in the private and public sectors. Some of our major<br />

environmental and pipelines projects currently undertaken are set forth below:<br />

Portable Water Supply, Guwahati: This project involves the design and construction of a portable water<br />

supply infrastructure with capacity of 107 million liters per day, on a turnkey basis, in Guwahati City<br />

(South Guwahati Western Part) for Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority. The project<br />

commenced in March 2009 and is scheduled to be completed in September 2011. The total contract value of<br />

the two phases approximately is Rs.3,490.00 million<br />

Civil Works for Cooling Water System, Mundra: This project involves the civil works for cooling water<br />

system for the 4000 MW ultra mega power project at Mundra, Gujarat for Coastal Gujarat Power Limited,<br />

which is a Tata Power company. This project commenced in August 2008 and is scheduled to be completed<br />

in June 2010. The contract value for this project approximately is Rs.2,360.00 million.<br />

Hydroelectric Power Structures<br />

We undertake the construction of structures for hydroelectric power plants, such as dams, powerhouses, surge<br />

chambers, intake structures and head race tunnels. One of our major hydroelectric power structure projects currently<br />

undertaken is set forth below:<br />

Punatsangchu Hydroelectric Project: This project involves the construction of a head race tunnel of<br />

approximately eight kilometers long and with a diameter of approximately 11 meters for Punatsangchu<br />

Hydroelectric Project Authority in Bhutan. This project commenced in April 2009 and is scheduled to be<br />

completed in March 2014. The contract value of this project approximately is Rs.4,000.00 million.<br />

Hydraulic and Irrigation<br />

We undertake the engineering, design and construction works for dams, tunnels, irrigation pipes and hydraulic<br />

structures. The majority of our irrigation projects are in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Some of our major hydraulic<br />

and irrigation projects currently undertaken or recently completed are set forth below:<br />

Gandikota – Package 2 Project: This project involves the earthwork excavation of the Galeru Nagari Sujla<br />

Sravanthi (GNSS) main canal, including the construction of cross-masonry and cross-drainage works from<br />

km. 24.33 to km. 32.64 and the formation of the earthen bund for Vamikonda Sagar Reservoir and<br />

Sarvaraja Sagar Reservoir and the leading channels to reservoirs, as well as its distribution system, minors,<br />

sub-minors including the investigation, preparation of hydraulic particulars, designs and drawings under<br />

Gandikota – Package 2 for the Irrigation Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The project<br />

commenced in March 2005 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2009. The contract value for this<br />

project approximately is Rs.2,940.00 million.<br />

IWPP Sohar Water Transmission System Project: This project involves the design, manufacture, delivery,<br />

storage, erection, testing and commissioning of the IWPP power and desalination plant to reservoirs in<br />

Wilayats, Liwa, Sohar, Saham, Khaburah, Suwaiq and Buraimi on a turnkey lump sum basis. The scope of<br />

the project also include pipelines of approximately 300 kilometers (with a diameter up to 1,200 millimeters)<br />

with three pumping station (having 16 pumps) and 13 reservoirs (with a total volume up to 150,000 cubic<br />

meters). This project commenced in December 2004 and was completed in August 2007. The value of this<br />

project approximately is Rs.6,250.00 million.<br />
