ARTICLE 4<br />

Are you in favor <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> adoption <strong>of</strong> Amendment No. 3 as proposed<br />

by <strong>the</strong> Planning Board for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Zoning Ordinance as<br />

follows: "To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to amend Article III, Use<br />

Regulations by amending 3.35.1, which regulates <strong>the</strong> conducting <strong>of</strong><br />

garage, barn or lawn sales, from a permitted use (P) to permitted by<br />

<strong>the</strong> Building Inspector (B) in <strong>the</strong> Residence AA (RAA) , Residence A (RA)<br />

Residence B (RB) and Residence C-Seasonal (RCS) Districts. 3.35.1<br />

would read as follows:<br />

"Conducted on two or fewer occasions within a calendar year,<br />

provided that such occasions be at least sixty days apart and <strong>of</strong> not<br />

more that two days duration.<br />

ARTICLE 5<br />

Are you in favor <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> adoption <strong>of</strong> Amendment No. 4 as proposed<br />

by <strong>the</strong> Planning Board for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Zoning Ordinance as<br />

follows: "To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to amend Article IV,<br />

Dimensional Requirements . by amending 4.1.1, Minimum Lot Area Per<br />

Dwelling Unit, for <strong>the</strong> Business (B) District from 3,000 square feet to<br />

10,000 square feet.<br />

ARTICLE 6<br />

Are you in favor <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> adoption <strong>of</strong> Amendment No. 5 as proposed<br />

by <strong>the</strong> Planning Board for <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong> Zoning Ordinance as<br />

follows: "To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to amend Article VIII, Multi<br />

Family Dwellings, by deleting 8.2.1, which requires 400 square feet <strong>of</strong><br />

recreation area per dwelling unit.<br />

ARTICLE 7<br />

To see if <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> will vote to raise and appropriate a sum <strong>of</strong><br />

$2,700,000 for <strong>the</strong> purpose <strong>of</strong> preparing plans and specifications, land<br />

acquisitions and/or easements and for <strong>the</strong> construction <strong>of</strong> sewerage and<br />

sewage treatment facilities recommended in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong>'s 201 Facilities<br />

Planning Study; which are requirements contained in <strong>the</strong> Federal Water<br />

Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C.1251 et seq.) and will<br />

qualify <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> for Federal and State funds, such sum to be raised by<br />

<strong>the</strong> issuance <strong>of</strong> Serial Bonds or Notes not to exceed $2,700,000 under<br />

and in compliance with provisions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Municipal Finance Act (NH RSA<br />

33:1 et seq., as amended) and to authorize <strong>the</strong> Selectmen to issue and<br />

negotiate such bonds or notes and to determine <strong>the</strong> rate <strong>of</strong> interest<br />

<strong>the</strong>reon, and to take such actions as may be necessary to effect <strong>the</strong><br />

issuance, negotiation, sale and delivery <strong>of</strong> such bonds or notes as<br />

shall be in <strong>the</strong> best interest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hampton</strong>, additional to<br />

participate in <strong>the</strong> State Revolving Loan program RSA 486.14 (formerly<br />

149. B: 12) established for this purpose, and to allow <strong>the</strong> Selectmen to<br />

expend such monies as become available from <strong>the</strong> Federal and State<br />

governments under <strong>the</strong> Financial Assistance Program for <strong>the</strong> Construction<br />

Grants section <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended<br />

(33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq) and pass any vote relating <strong>the</strong>reto. Any<br />

income derived from temporary investment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> bond proceeds shall be<br />

returned to <strong>the</strong> General Fund.<br />
