have been taken from their home country by the other parent and brought to the US without the left-behind parent’s
knowledge and/or consent. Practices in the state and federal courts in Virginia and Washington, D.C., and in the
federal courts of Maryland. Has published articles on family law topics, most recently on the need to identify the proper
jurisdiction under the UCCJEA, in which to bring an initial child custody action.
