Born 1969. Studied French and History at Oxford University before studying Law. Spent 9 months living and working
in France 1989-90 and a further 3 months working in a French legal practice, Tomas & Tomasi in Paris in 1995.

(1992-98), Press Officer (1997-98), Chair of Cohabitation Committee (1995-97); Law Society Family Law Committee
(1998-2008). Acted for John Charman in landmark Court of Appeal decision, the largest award to a wife in English
legal history on a contested basis. Also acted for Stuart Crossley in pioneering a new procedure on divorce where there
is a pre-nuptial agreement, in leading Court of Appeal case. Co-author "International Trust and Divorce Litigation",
"Model Letters for Family Lawyers" and one of the first textbooks on civil partnership, "Civil Partnership: The New
Law" all published by Jordans.
