The five members shall be a Past President (or, if none, then the President), the
President-Elect (who shall serve as Chair), one Fellow nominated and elected
by the Board at its annual meeting and two Fellows, one of whom is not
currently a Board member and one of whom is currently a Board member.
A notice containing the names and addresses of the new members of this
committee shall be published on the website by January 1 of every year, and
sent to the Fellows by whatever method is considered suitable, including e-mail,
not later than January 31. The notice shall also state what positions are to be
filled by election in the year, identify any person who is not eligible for
nomination to that post under these bylaws, and give a deadline by which
nominations are to be received by the committee.
The President may fill any vacancy which may thereafter arise in the Nominating
Committee by appointing an appropriately qualified Fellow or, if the vacancy is in
the President-Elect's position, or if the President-Elect declines to act as chair,
by appointing a past President. But, if no past President is available, then the
President may appoint any past or present member of the Board who shall
serve as chair.
10.2 CHAPTER DELEGATES

Whenever a Chapter delegate has been appointed, it is the obligation of that
Chapter's President to give written notice to the chair of the Nominating
Committee of the name of the Fellow(s) who is to serve as a chartered Chapter
delegate.
In the event that such notice is not received by June 1, the Chapter is to be
warned that unless the notice is received by July 1 that position shall, for the
next election, be deemed to be an additional Governor-at-Large within 3.5 a. If
the notice is not received by July 1, the position shall, for the next election, duly
be deemed to be an additional Governor-at-Large within 3.5 a.
10.3 REPORT OF THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The Nominating Committee, no later than June 15th in each year, shall make its
report by nominating one Fellow for each position:
(1) which is to be filled by election of the Fellows or Board as provided
elsewhere in these Bylaws;
(2) which has been vacated and which has a remaining unexpired term;
and
(3) which will become vacant if the nominees under 10.3 a (1) and (2) are
elected.
The report shall identify each nominee by name.
The President shall cause the current report of the Nominating Committee to be
published on the website by June 16th in each year and sent to each Fellow by
whatever method is considered suitable, including e-mail, by June 30th in each
year.
