If any <strong>of</strong> these conditions are breached by the Fellow, then that Fellow’s<br />

membership is automatically terminated.<br />

1.10 REINSTATEMENT OF FELLOWSHIP<br />

After removal from the rolls <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong>, all former Fellows may seek<br />

reinstatement by filing a petition with the Board:<br />

(1) in the event <strong>of</strong> removal because <strong>of</strong> a failure to pay dues or<br />

assessments, within one year <strong>of</strong> removal, together with a tender <strong>of</strong><br />

payment <strong>of</strong> all overdue dues or assessments, plus dues or assessments<br />

accrued since the removal; or<br />

(2) in the event <strong>of</strong> removal for reasons other than a failure to pay dues or<br />

assessments, within two years <strong>of</strong> removal.<br />

Upon receipt <strong>of</strong> a petition for reinstatement, the Board shall determine:<br />

(1) whether to hold a hearing <strong>of</strong> the Board or to refer the matter to the<br />

Board <strong>of</strong> Admissions for a decision;<br />

(2) if a hearing is held whether, if the petitioner is in full compliance with the<br />

bylaws <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong> and the regulations <strong>of</strong> any relevant Chapter, to<br />

reinstate the petitioner;<br />

(3) what, if any, specific requirements shall be imposed as a condition <strong>of</strong> or<br />

in connection with reinstatement;<br />

2.1 CHAPTERS<br />

CHAPTERS.<br />

No country or international region shall have or be part <strong>of</strong> more than one Chapter.<br />

Chapters may include Fellows from more than one country.<br />

2.2 ESTABLISHMENT OF CHAPTERS<br />

Upon the application <strong>of</strong> at least fifteen Fellows from any country or international<br />

region which has at least twenty fellows, the Board may consent to the<br />

establishment <strong>of</strong> a Chapter in respect <strong>of</strong> the designated country or international<br />

region.<br />

The application shall contain substantial evidence <strong>of</strong> the proposed activities <strong>of</strong><br />

the Chapter, and any other information requested by the Board.<br />

If membership in a Chapter falls below twenty, the Chapter must, within two<br />

years, regain a membership <strong>of</strong> at least twenty Fellows or automatically lose the<br />

status <strong>of</strong> Chapter.<br />

2.3 POWERS OF CHAPTERS<br />

A Chapter has the power to levy dues from its fellows, as approved by the<br />

Board, in accordance with 1.7 above.<br />
