Born 1969. Graduated in Law from Oxford University 1990. Qualified as Solicitor <strong>of</strong> the Supreme Court at<br />
Macfarlanes in 1996. Solicitor at Withers LLP from 1997 (Partner since 2003 and Head <strong>of</strong> Family Law Team since<br />
2008). Specialises in divorce and family law, in particular the financial repercussions <strong>of</strong> relationship formation and<br />
breakdown. Work frequently has an international perspective, <strong>of</strong>ten involving tax and trust implications, substantial<br />
assets or incomes, forum races and cross-border cases. Has a niche practice in negotiating domestic and international<br />
pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnership agreements. Handles private law disputes relating to children. Regularly appears<br />
on TV, radio and in the national / international /legal press as an expert about family law topics. Lectures on family<br />
law issues and is the author <strong>of</strong> the divorce chapter in Tolley’s Administration <strong>of</strong> Trusts and Estates. Has worked in<br />
America and studied in France.<br />
