Article XIV.
PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY
14. Interpretation of these Bylaws and in parliamentary situations that are not covered by
these Bylaws, (in which event Roberts Rules of Order, newly revised, shall apply)
shall be by the President. The Board, the Fellowship meeting or Executive
Committee, as the case may be, shall have the right to overrule the parliamentary
decision of the President.
Article XV.
COMPENSATION
15 Except as may be specifically authorized by the Board:

no salary or compensation for services shall be paid to or by any Fellow; and
Board and committee members may not be reimbursed for the expenses of
attendance at meetings and other activities, except in accordance with policies
adopted by the Board.
16.1 FISCAL YEAR
Article XVI.
FINANCES
The fiscal year of the Academy shall begin on the first of January and end on the
thirty-first of December in each year.
16.2 FUNDS
All checks, drafts or other orders for payment of money, notes or other evidence of
indebtedness issued in the name of the Academy, shall be signed by such officer(s)
or agent(s) of the Academy and in such manner, as shall from time to time, be
determined by resolution of the Board. In the absence of such determination, such
instruments shall be signed by the Treasurer.
16.3 DEPOSITS
All funds of the Academy shall be deposited from time to time to the credit of the
Academy in such banks, trust companies or other depositories and in such
currencies as the Treasurer may select with the consent of the Executive Committee.
