monitor all accounts, reports and other documents prepared in connection with<br />

<strong>Academy</strong> funds, revenues and expenditures and seek to make certain that<br />

these accounts, reports and documents are accurate;<br />

report the present and projected financial condition <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong> at each<br />

annual meeting <strong>of</strong> the Fellows, Board and Executive Committee;<br />

advise whether an action or proposed action <strong>of</strong> the Officers, Board or Executive<br />

Committee would have a significant impact on the financial condition <strong>of</strong> the<br />

<strong>Academy</strong>;<br />

prepare such other financial recommendations and special reports as may be<br />

requested by the President; and<br />

perform other duties incident to the <strong>of</strong>fice.<br />

6.7 IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENTS<br />

The three Immediate Past Presidents shall assist and consult with the President in<br />

connection with all ongoing <strong>Academy</strong> programs and committee assignments and<br />

shall perform such further duties as may be designated by the President or the<br />

Board.<br />

7.1 COMPOSITION<br />

Article VII.<br />

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE<br />

The Executive Committee shall consist <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>ficers specified in 6.1; and ex <strong>of</strong>ficio,<br />

with voting privilege, the Presidents <strong>of</strong> Chapters having more than twenty-five<br />

Fellows. Notwithstanding any other provisions <strong>of</strong> these by-laws, any such Chapter<br />

President shall be a member <strong>of</strong> the Executive Committee during the time he or she<br />

holds said <strong>of</strong>fice.<br />

7.2 POWERS AND DUTIES<br />

The Executive Committee shall act as the executive <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong> between annual<br />

meetings <strong>of</strong> the Board:<br />

making decisions on behalf <strong>of</strong> the Board in respect <strong>of</strong> all matters not covered in<br />

these bylaws;<br />

meeting at least three times a year (once during or immediately before the<br />

annual meeting and on two other occasions);<br />

reviewing and approving the activity <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong>, and <strong>of</strong> any<br />

committees designated by the President;<br />

reporting to the Board on the activity <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Academy</strong> as directed by the Board.<br />
