monitor all accounts, reports and other documents prepared in connection with
Academy funds, revenues and expenditures and seek to make certain that
these accounts, reports and documents are accurate;
report the present and projected financial condition of the Academy at each
annual meeting of the Fellows, Board and Executive Committee;
advise whether an action or proposed action of the Officers, Board or Executive
Committee would have a significant impact on the financial condition of the
Academy;
prepare such other financial recommendations and special reports as may be
requested by the President; and
perform other duties incident to the office.
6.7 IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENTS
The three Immediate Past Presidents shall assist and consult with the President in
connection with all ongoing Academy programs and committee assignments and
shall perform such further duties as may be designated by the President or the
Board.
7.1 COMPOSITION
Article VII.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee shall consist of the officers specified in 6.1; and ex officio,
with voting privilege, the Presidents of Chapters having more than twenty-five
Fellows. Notwithstanding any other provisions of these by-laws, any such Chapter
President shall be a member of the Executive Committee during the time he or she
holds said office.
7.2 POWERS AND DUTIES
The Executive Committee shall act as the executive of the Academy between annual
meetings of the Board:

making decisions on behalf of the Board in respect of all matters not covered in
these bylaws;
meeting at least three times a year (once during or immediately before the
annual meeting and on two other occasions);
reviewing and approving the activity of the officers of the Academy, and of any
committees designated by the President;
reporting to the Board on the activity of the Academy as directed by the Board.
