1.7. The in silico Approach<br />
The term in silico is actually the computational models or simulations based on the<br />
experimental data which can be used to make hypothesis and to predict about any biological<br />
process. The in silico approach has been widely used in pharmacology to make predictions,<br />
suggest hypothesis and ultimately leads towards new findings in drug designing and<br />
therapeutics. The in silico approach have the capability to increase the chances of discovery<br />
and decrease the laborious work in the laboratory. Many discoveries in the pharmacology<br />
were made by using the in silico approaches (83, 84, 85). It was stated that successful<br />
industrial companies are those that collect information from their experiments and introduce<br />
some rules that can show the pathways to obtain the target product for the clinical analysis<br />
