1.7. The in silico Approach
The term in silico is actually the computational models or simulations based on the
experimental data which can be used to make hypothesis and to predict about any biological
process. The in silico approach has been widely used in pharmacology to make predictions,
suggest hypothesis and ultimately leads towards new findings in drug designing and
therapeutics. The in silico approach have the capability to increase the chances of discovery
and decrease the laborious work in the laboratory. Many discoveries in the pharmacology
were made by using the in silico approaches (83, 84, 85). It was stated that successful
industrial companies are those that collect information from their experiments and introduce
some rules that can show the pathways to obtain the target product for the clinical analysis
