Problem: Existing water system infrastructure is aged or undersized. Some facilities are 40-50 years old,<br />
storage capacity is insufficient, distribution system has low pressure, and undersized facilities limit<br />
expansion of service area.<br />
Solution: Design Phase 1 of water system improvements, including new water storage tank, waterlines,<br />
booster pump station, and PRV station; rehabilitation of existing water storage tank and well<br />
house; and installation of new meters and meter upgrades.<br />

The Village of Questa needs a completely new WWTP<br />
The funding is being used to construct a completely new extended aeration WWTP.<br />
WWTP Improvements<br />
Project is a complete rebuilding of the wastewater treatment plant for the Village of Questa. The project is<br />
approximately 75% complete as of June 2011. Scheduled completion date is November 2011. Project is 93%<br />
complete as of the end of August 2011. Project is 97% complete and just waiting for final piece of equipment so it<br />
can be finished and the plant put on line. Completion date currently the end of July 2012. 5/30/2012. Project<br />
construction is complete as of November 2012. The final change order and closeout documents are pending as of<br />
12-5-12.<br />
