Delbert “Jack” J. Percy<br />

January 15, 1929 - October 22, <strong>2012</strong><br />

Jack served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War as a T/SGT and an aerial photographer.<br />

When Jack retired from the Marblehead Police Department in Massachusetts he returned to Maine to his true<br />

vocation - lobstering.<br />

Jack was very involved with his community, serving from 1985 to 1987 as a member <strong>of</strong> the newly established<br />

Shellfish Conservation Commission, in 1987 as a member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> Landings Committee, and from 1991 to<br />

1995 as a member <strong>of</strong> the Public Safety Advisory Committee.<br />

He was a member <strong>of</strong> the Maine Lobstermen's Association, The Masons and Shriners, <strong>Phippsburg</strong> American<br />

Legion Memorial Post 216, and the Popham Beach Boat Owners Association as well as other Civic associations.<br />
