TOWN OF PHIPPSBURG<br />

GENERAL GOVERNMENT<br />

Article 3. To see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to authorize the Board <strong>of</strong> Selectmen to accept gifts and<br />

donations, including monetary, on behalf <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> and to expend/use the gifts and donations,<br />

including monetary, for the purpose for which they were donated.<br />

Article 4. To see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to authorize the municipal <strong>of</strong>ficers to dispose <strong>of</strong> town<br />

owned personal property with a value <strong>of</strong> $2,000.00 or less under such terms and conditions as<br />

they may deem advisable.<br />

Article 5. To see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to authorize the Board <strong>of</strong> Selectmen to apply for available<br />

grants, to receive said grants, and to expend the grant funds for the purposes stated in the<br />

grant.<br />

Article 6. To see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to transfer any unexpended account balances that may<br />

exist as <strong>of</strong> June 30, 2013 to surplus, except those accounts listed below to be carried forward.<br />

The Selectmen are authorized to expend funds out <strong>of</strong> these carry forward accounts for the purpose<br />

for which they were established.<br />

Article 7. To see if the <strong>Town</strong> will vote to authorize the Selectmen to annually set fees for returned<br />

checks, copies <strong>of</strong> <strong>Town</strong> ordinances and other documents, and various other administrative<br />
