The emphasis of the Architectural Engineering Technology (ARET)
associate degree program is to develop skills in the areas of drafting
and building materials. The program provides an overall understanding
of commercial and residential construction, including contract documents,
heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
As a graduate you will have the opportunity to continue study either
full-time or part-time in the Bachelor of Science degree program in
Construction Management & Engineering Technologies (CMET).
This program does not lead to professional registration in architecture
or engineering.

The objective of the Bachelor of Science degree program in
Construction Management & Engineering Technologies (CMET)
is to broaden the background of the associate degree graduate in the
areas of construction project management, construction engineering,
construction methods, inspection, supervision, scheduling and management
with additional emphasis on business and communication.
The intent of the bachelor of science program is to prepare students
to take advantage of opportunities in management positions in which
direction of personnel, as well as construction projects, is required.
