The emphasis of the Architectural Engineering Technology (ARET)<br />
associate degree program is to develop skills in the areas of drafting<br />
and building materials. The program provides an overall understanding<br />
of commercial and residential construction, including contract documents,<br />
heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.<br />
As a graduate you will have the opportunity to continue study either<br />
full-time or part-time in the Bachelor of Science degree program in<br />
Construction Management & Engineering Technologies (CMET).<br />
This program does not lead to professional registration in architecture<br />

The objective of the Bachelor of Science degree program in<br />
Construction Management & Engineering Technologies (CMET)<br />
is to broaden the background of the associate degree graduate in the<br />
areas of construction project management, construction engineering,<br />
construction methods, inspection, supervision, scheduling and management<br />
with additional emphasis on business and communication.<br />
The intent of the bachelor of science program is to prepare students<br />
to take advantage of opportunities in management positions in which<br />
direction of personnel, as well as construction projects, is required.<br />
