To Reset the PE953 Hand-Held Controller<br />

1.<br />

Press and release any button on the Hand-Held Controller to wake it from sleep. (The unit<br />

goes to sleep to conserve battery life when it has been idle for 60 seconds.)<br />

2. Press and hold the and buttons at the same time<br />

to put the device into programming mode. You are in programming<br />

mode when the LEARN MODE screen is displayed, as shown at the<br />

right.<br />

NOTE: If you pause in programming for more than 30 seconds,<br />

the screen automatically returns to the previous screen.<br />

3. Press and release the function button to select RESET<br />

CONTROLLER. The screen displays four options, as shown.<br />

1 RESET CONTROLLER<br />

2 RESET DEVICE<br />

3 INCLUDE DEVICE<br />

4 ADD TO SCENE<br />

5 REMOVE FROM SCENE<br />

UP-PREVIOUS DWN-MORE<br />

RESET CNTRL 00-00P<br />

1 RESET NET AND CFG<br />

2 RESET NET ONLY<br />

3 RESET CFG ONLY<br />

4 ABORT RESET<br />

4. Press and release the function button to select RESET NET<br />

AND CFG. This will delete any existing network connections as<br />

well as any programming entered using the Hand-Held Controller.<br />

The screen requests confirmation, as shown.<br />

PLEASE PRESS<br />

5 TO CONTINUE<br />

ENTER TO CANCEL<br />

5. Press and release the function button to select CONTINUE.<br />

If the action is successful, the screen displays the words PLEASE<br />

WAIT followed by SUCCESSFUL, as shown.<br />

Any pre-existing network or configuration programming in the Hand-<br />

Held Controller is now deleted.<br />

To Reset the PE653 Receiving Device<br />

1. Press and release any button on the Hand-Held Controller to wake it from sleep. (The unit<br />

2. Press and hold the and buttons at the same time to<br />
