Using BOOTP to Configure Channel 1 for <strong>Processor</strong>s on Subnets<br />

Configure the BOOTPTAB file according to the subnet mask and<br />

gateway address for each SLC 5/05 processor on the link. See the<br />

example below and the corresponding BOOTPTAB file on the<br />

next page.<br />

Important: Because BOOTP requests are seen only on the local<br />

subnet, each subnet needs its own BOOTP server and<br />

BOOTPTAB file.<br />
