8.2 Wireless Settings<br />
From the Wireless menu, click on Settings to configure the unit’s Wi-Fi radio<br />
interface. The unit’s radio can operate in two modes, IEEE 802.11b & g and<br />
802.11b only.<br />
The IEEE 802.11g standard operates within the 2.4 GHz band at up to 54 Mbps.<br />
Note that because the IEEE 802.11g standard is an extension of the IEEE<br />
802.11b standard, it allows clients with 802.11b wireless network cards to<br />
associate to an 802.11g access point.<br />

• Interface Status – Enables the Wi-Fi radio.<br />
• Country Code – Enables to select the parameter set (list of parameters per<br />
country regulations) by which various parameters are defined. (Default: United<br />
States)<br />
• Network Name (SSID) – The Service Set ID (SSID) that identifies the Wi-Fi<br />
network. The SSID is case sensitive and can consist of up to 32 alphanumeric<br />
characters. (Default: default)<br />
• Radio Channel – The radio channel used by the unit and its clients to<br />
communicate with each other. This channel must be the same on the unit and<br />
