Radio Frequency Interference Statement<br />

The <strong>BreezeMAX</strong> <strong>Si</strong> <strong>2000</strong> Access Unit has been tested and found to comply with<br />

the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules and to<br />

EN 301 489-1 rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection<br />

against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a residential<br />

environment notwithstanding use in commercial, business and industrial<br />

environments. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency<br />

energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual,<br />

may cause harmful interference to radio communications.<br />

FCC Radiation Hazard Warning<br />

To comply with FCC RF exposure requirements in Section 1.1307 and 2.1091 of<br />

FCC Rules, the antenna used for this transmitter must be fixed-mounted on<br />

outdoor permanent structures with a separation distance of at least 2 meter from<br />

all persons.<br />

This equipment complies with the appropriate essential requirements of Article 3<br />

of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC.<br />

To avoid electrical shock, do not perform any servicing unless you are qualified to<br />

do so.<br />

Before connecting this instrument to the power line, make sure that the voltage of<br />

the power source matches the requirements of the instrument. The unit must be<br />

connected to an earthed (grounded) outlet to comply with international safety<br />

standards.<br />

The instrument transmits radio energy during normal operation. To avoid possible<br />

harmful exposure to this energy, do not stand or work for extended periods of time<br />

in front of its antenna. The long-term characteristics or the possible physiological<br />

effects of Radio Frequency Electromagnetic fields have not been yet fully<br />

investigated.<br />

Outdoor Unit and Antenna Installation and Grounding<br />

Ensure that outdoor units, antennas and supporting structures are properly<br />

installed to eliminate any physical hazard to either people or property. Make sure<br />

that the installation of the outdoor unit, antenna and cables is performed in<br />

accordance with all relevant national and local building and safety codes. Even<br />
