MAC Authentication<br />
8.4 MAC Authentication<br />
Wireless clients can be authenticated for network access by checking their MAC<br />
address against a local database configured on the <strong>BreezeMAX</strong> <strong>Si</strong> <strong>2000</strong>. You can<br />
configure a list of up to 32 wireless client MAC addresses in the filter list to either<br />
allow or deny network access.<br />

• System Default – Specifies the action for MAC addresses listed in the local<br />
MAC Authentication Table.<br />
» Deny: Blocks access for all MAC addresses listed in the MAC<br />
Authentication Table. Clients with MAC addresses not listed in the table<br />
are permitted access.<br />
» Allow: Permits access for all MAC addresses listed in the MAC<br />
Authentication Table. Clients with MAC addresses not listed in the table<br />
are denied access.<br />
