Planning Authority
a) Contact details for principal, consultants and contractors including after
hours numbers;
b) Traffic management plan including road works signage;
c) Proposed hours of work (including volume and timing of heavy vehicles
entering and leaving the site, and works undertaken on site);
d) Identification of potentially noisy construction phases, such as operation
of rock-breakers, explosives or pile drivers, and proposed means to
minimise impact on the amenity of neighbouring buildings;
e) Site facilities to be provided; and
f) Procedures for washing down vehicles to prevent soil and debris being
carried onto the street.
Note: A “Works within the Road Reservation” permit must be obtained from Council for
all activity within the Road Reservation.
Environmental Health Officer
1. Control measures are to be installed for the duration of the construction phase so
as to limit the loss of soils and other debris from the site.
2. This development/use is not to result in the generation of environmental harm or
nuisance as defined in the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act
1994.
External Referrals
Cradle Mountain Water
A referral was sent to Cradle Mountain Water on the 22 October 2012. A response was
received on the 6 November 2012 requiring conditions for this permit, (see attached).
Advertising
The application was advertised for a period of 14 days in accordance with the provisions
of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act, 1993. During the advertising period, Council
received two (2) representations. The representations and planning response to the
