32. The internal subdivision road from cul-de-sac to cul-de-sac is to be of
compacted crushed rock pavement, designed in accordance with the Austroads
Pavement Design Guidelines, with a pavement width of 6.0 metres measured
from lip of kerb to lip of kerb and a minimum total pavement thickness of 350
mm incorporating geotextile reinforcement between the sub-base and subgrade
materials with appropriate geofabric filter plus a 40 mm asphalt seal,
concrete kerb and channel and footpaths all in accordance with the Tasmanian
Councils’ Subdivision Standard Drawing SD-1001, and is to be constructed to
the reasonable requirements of the Executive Manager Engineering Services.
33. Road intersections, both internally and within the council road network are to
be assessed in regard to the various requirements of the Austroads Guide to
Traffic Management set. All upgrade and works required to achieve compliance
with the Austroads Guide to Traffic Management set are to be addressed as
part of the road design process.
34. Concrete footpaths of 1.5 metre width in accordance with Tasmanian Councils’
Standard Drawing SD-1006 are to be constructed on both sides of the internal
subdivision Road. The footpath is to be located immediately adjacent to lot
boundaries.
35. The developer is to contribute to Council funds for the constructions of a 1.5m
wide footpath on the western side of Frederick St, from Belton to Inglis Street.
The contribution amount is to be based on a pro-rata number of approved lots
for the subdivision and the number of existing lots in Belton Street, Stanwyn
Court and the portion of Frederick Street from Lowe Street to Inglis Street.
36. Concrete Barrier Kerb and Channel Type B1 is to be constructed in accordance
with Council’s standard drawing SD-1005 on both sides of internal roads.
37. A court bowl of radius 8.5 m and otherwise in accordance with Tasmanian
Councils’ Standard Drawing SD-1011 is to be provided at both termination of
the internal road to facilitate the turning movements of vehicles including large
service vehicles such as garbage trucks. Construction is to be of equivalent
standard to the internal road.
38. A temporary court bowl of radius 8.5 m and constructed of minimum 200mm
crushed rock otherwise in accordance with Tasmanian Councils’ Standard
Drawing SD-1011 is to be provided at the termination of internal roads
following interim stages to facilitate the turning movements of vehicles
including large service vehicles such as garbage trucks.
