Guattari, Félix (1930–1992). French media activist, philosopher and<br />

psychoan<strong>al</strong>yst; author <strong>of</strong> numerous works, sever<strong>al</strong> written <strong>in</strong> collaboration<br />

with Deleuze; active <strong>in</strong> the popular radio movements <strong>in</strong> It<strong>al</strong>y<br />

and France <strong>in</strong> the 70s and 80s, especi<strong>al</strong>ly <strong>Radio</strong> Alice.<br />

Kantako, Mbanna. Micro-radio activist with Tenants Rights Association,<br />

Black Liberation <strong>Radio</strong>, African Liberation <strong>Radio</strong> and now<br />

Human Rights <strong>Radio</strong>; considered by many to be a pioneer <strong>of</strong> the<br />

micro-radio movement.<br />

Kogawa, T<strong>et</strong>suo. Micro-media activist, artist and philosopher; Pr<strong>of</strong>essor<br />

<strong>of</strong> Communication Studies at Tokyo Keizai University’s Department<br />

<strong>of</strong> Communications; author <strong>of</strong> over 30 books on media culture,<br />

film, the city and micro politics; <strong>in</strong>troduced the free-radio movement<br />

<strong>in</strong> Japan; <strong>in</strong> the 1980s conducted a series <strong>of</strong> important <strong>in</strong>terviews with<br />

Guattari.<br />
