The Program<br />
Recreation majors have many fieldwork<br />
choices through the abundance of nearby<br />
parks, wilderness areas, lakes, beaches, rivers,<br />
and leisure-oriented organizations.<br />
Students round out their education by completing<br />
a minor (or minor field of study) in<br />
business administration and an internship.<br />
Organizations employing recreation administration<br />
graduates include: community parks,<br />
volunteer agencies, corporate wellness<br />
programs, college recreation programs,<br />
commercial recreation centers, therapeutic<br />
recreation programs, and outdoor education<br />
programs.<br />
