Seminar (1). Students share curricular ideas, instructional<br />

methods and strategies; demonstrate<br />

teaching skills, self-assess, and problem solve<br />

SPED 737 Non-violent Crisis Intervention-<br />

Special Populations (1). Students acquire<br />

verbal skills to de-escalate crises and nonviolent<br />

physical intervention skills to ensure safety of<br />

students with disabilities and other individuals in<br />

the environment.<br />

Education (2). An introduction to professional<br />

development and reflective practice in special<br />

education. Students develop a Professional<br />
