No Longer a Slumdog
A GFA Bridge of Hope center brings hope to the entire
community. When the townspeople see the staff unconditionally
loving the children, they want to know more. This is when they
experience the incredible care that Jesus has for older generations
as well. The result is that they just naturally want to know about
this God who leads people forward and gives them such value.
What makes GFA Bridge of Hope unique
The children at GFA Bridge of Hope centers have the
opportunity to be transformed, not only because of the physical
means of food, clothing and a practical education, including the
amazing blessing of being able to read the written word, but also
through the power of Jesus Christ. Although we are committed
to alleviating the pains of this present world through physical aid
and education, we are even more concerned about the eternal
fate of these precious children.
GFA Bridge of Hope is a natural extension of our mission
to reach the unreached with the love of Christ. Literally tens of
thousands of people experience the love of God through our GFA
Bridge of Hope ministry alone, but this is just the initial fruit of a
much greater harvest. It is our hope that each child will spread this
divine love they receive to all those around them. So one becomes
five, which becomes twenty, then a hundred and even a thousand.
These numbers will be even higher when we have more centers.
There are still millions of children who are eagerly waiting.
And it’s our heart’s desire to reach them, not only with the
promise that education brings, but also with the transforming
power of the love of Christ.
