No Longer a Slumdog<br />
out at night. I keep thinking this is all a dream, that<br />
one day I will wake up in that room again, but so far<br />
that has <strong>no</strong>t happened.<br />
I found out that the people at the Bridge of Hope<br />
center were praying for me. They had been for two<br />
years.<br />
I do <strong>no</strong>t k<strong>no</strong>w, but maybe that is why the man<br />
forgot to lock the door.<br />
How happy the angels in heaven must have been to see<br />
Nadish free and behold his joy in the face of the Father!<br />
Throughout Matthew and the other Gospels, we see how<br />
Jesus repeatedly highlights how important children are to Him.<br />
His heart is very close to them. He wants us to k<strong>no</strong>w that “when<br />
you embrace My children, you embrace Me. To touch them is to<br />
touch Me.”<br />
A Heart Like His<br />
If you are a parent, you understand this sentiment. Who<br />
doesn’t take it extremely personally when someone treats their<br />
child with special kindness On the flip side, what parent<br />
wouldn’t experience an explosive fury to learn that their child<br />
had been abused<br />
Close your eyes and just imagine it was your child who was<br />
gagged and bound and whose eyes were blinded by boiling oil.<br />
Picture your daughter trapped in a cage with lines of men out-<br />
