Like me, I am sure that when you hear about the suffering of
these downtrodden children, their parents and their families, you
want to change their circumstances. You want to comfort them
in their pain.
I feel sad about those early days when I didn’t see these lost
children the same way I saw my own. I was blinded by my own
agenda, so busy in the ministry that I couldn’t see the face of
Christ in theirs. But then God in His mercy helped me identify
with His heart for those who have no voice.
And now my prayer, like many before me, is that the Lord
would break my heart with the things that break His.
“I realized that God loves me, and I also have
started to love me. I thank God who has brought
me so far.”
