more than 200 kilometers away from them. I told him, “We need<br />
to set up a center in this village right away.”<br />
Within one week, I got a call back from our leader saying<br />
that they had established a GFA Bridge of Hope center with 150<br />
of these desperately hungry children. They distributed blankets<br />
and met some basic needs of the poor people in the village. And<br />
<strong>no</strong>w these children would be cared for, get a warm meal each day<br />
and receive an education. As it often happens, a door was opened<br />
for our workers to share the love of Christ and bring the assurance<br />
that God will take care of them. Thank God that we were<br />
able to learn about their situation before it was too late.<br />
God k<strong>no</strong>ws. He hears. He sees their pain. And He has<br />
brought us to the point at which we can, by His grace, help do<br />
something about it.<br />
