it is happening
alone as “fulfilling” the Great Commission. If our goal is simply
to improve people’s outward status without touching their soul,
then we are no different than any of the hundreds of other relief
organizations out there today.
The miraculous awakening in this village all began with one
little boy named Nibun learning about the Lord for the first time
in his life in a GFA Bridge of Hope center.
And his story is not an exception; it is becoming almost a
daily occurrence.
They Find Hope
My eyes fill with tears of joy when I think of the tens of thousands
of dear children in our centers. Through our national missionaries
who serve in these marginalized communities, children
find hope in Jesus.
Beacons of life and healing, GFA Bridge of Hope centers
are facilities established in a community where up to 200 children
are able to come every day. We provide a holistic approach
to their development, focusing on three main areas: the child’s
physical, mental and spiritual growth.
Physical Needs
A GFA Bridge of Hope center is tailored to meet the specific
physical needs of the children in each center. For example,
our nutrition specialists determine what food and vitamins are
needed at each center and fix a daily meal accordingly. In addition,
for each student, GFA Bridge of Hope provides a uniform,
a backpack and school supplies like pencils and books.
