CHAMBER ENSEMBLE ASSOCIATION - TO SERVE AS A PERFORMING ENSEMBLE OF
PROFESSIONAL QUALITY AND TO REPRESENT THE UNIVERSITY AS MUSICAL AMBASSADORS.
Dance Club – the purpose of this group is to share, learn, and perform all forms of dance for
the Barry University campus, local community, and state region.
Theatre Club – promotes cultural ideals and the principles for the professional advancement
of its members in the theatre medium.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Accounting Association – stimulates interest and increased experience in accounting and
related fields.
American Association of Women Podiatrists – opens its membership to all female students
of podiatric medicine who are interested in advancing recognition of the profession and in
obtaining financial assistance for its members.
American Marketing Association – fosters a sense of community among students of
marketing.
American Medical Students Association – promotes a greater awareness of current issues
and advances in the field of medicine while promoting a support and social network for
classmates in an effort to lesson the stress of medical school.
Association for Computing Machinery – is an international scientific and educational
organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences and applications of information
technology. With a world-wide membership of 80,000 people, ACM functions as a locus for
computing professionals and students working in the various fields of information technology.
Athletic Training Association – provides a forum for Athletic Training students discussing
current issues in the field while encouraging professional advancement.
BIOMEDICAL SOCIETY – THE PURPOSE OF THE BIOMEDICAL SOCIETY (BMS) IS TO UNIFY AND
CREATE A NETWORK AMONG THE BMS STUDENTS FROM TRACKS I, II AND III THROUGH
VARIOUS CLUB ACTIVITIES AND FUND-RAISERS.
Broward Early Childhood Education Association – is organized to promote involvement
within the community, encourage unity among the Pre-K/Primary students in Broward County,
and provide representation at Barry University. BECEA is open to all Pre-K/Primary students
enrolled in the 2+2 Program in Broward County. Our goals are achieved through workshops,
fundraisers, social activities, community service and career opportunities.
Chemistry Club – seeks to widen student’s interests in chemistry by providing an organization
that brings together students that major in science. The organization provides students with
various activities ranging from recreational to volunteerism.
Delta Sigma Pi – a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business, promote
closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce and to encourage
scholarship and social activities of these students.
Doctoral Leadership Team and Association – advocates the intellectual and spiritual growth
of doctoral students by providing support, direction and avenues of communication. The
organization acts as a liaison between the doctoral students and the Doctoral Review Council.
