Economics and Finance Club – fosters educational experience in the economics and financial
industries.
Education Association (Kendall) – provides a forum for Education students in the Kendall
area to discuss concepts and issues surrounding the field while establishing links to
professional educators.
Education Association (Miami Shores) – provides a forum for Education students at the
Miami Shores campus to discuss concepts and issues surrounding the field while establishing
links to professional educators.
Event Management Group – foster educational experience through student involvement with
the planning and coordinating of special events.
Hispanic Podiatric Medical Students Association – its membership is open to all Hispanic
students of podiatric medicine who are interested in advancing recognition of the profession
and in obtaining financial assistance for its members.
International Association of Business Communicators – IABC supports students entry into
the strong and growing field of the communication professions: Mass Communication,
Organizational Communication, Journalism, Broadcast, Advertising, Marketing and Public
Relations. Membership emphasizes high professional standards and provides a transitional
experience from the classroom to the field. Student member benefits include receiving
Communication World magazine, accessing the online job listing and exploring career options
in business communication through interactions with professionals currently in the field.
International Business Association – to provide academic, professional and social
opportunities to Barry students and to develop the leadership skills necessary for the global
community.
International Radio & Television Society – is to enhance the development of college and
university students involved in telecommunications, broadcasting, cable and other electronic
media.
Mathematics Association of America – to promote student interest in the field of
mathematical sciences.
Nursing Students Association – to develop leader skills and an awareness of social
responsibilities; to encourage student participation in public affairs; and to contribute to
nursing education.
Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity – to form a strong bond uniting students and teachers of the
law with members of the bench and bar in a fraternal fellowship.
Psychology Club – addresses current issues in psychology while providing opportunities for
professional advancement within the discipline.
Radiology Club – designed for graduate students to provide a vehicle for constructive student
involvement, recognition and representation in the profession of radiology.
Scuba Society – provides information on and opportunities to participate in SCUBA activities
to recreational dive management majors and non-majors.
Sports Medicine Club – is open to all students, graduate and undergraduate but is composed
primarily of podiatric medical students. The purpose of the club is to promote lower extremity
sports medicine through a weekly journal, occasional guest lecturers and a variety of skills
workshops.
