MOBILE COMPUTING & PROJECTION<br />
<strong>Instructional</strong> Computing Services maintains several Mobile Computer and<br />
Projection Systems for use by students and faculty. The faculty member running the class<br />
must make a reservation for student use. A minimum 48 hours advance reservation is required<br />
and can be made by contacting the audiovisual department at (305) 899-3764<br />

<strong>Barry</strong> <strong>University</strong> Contract Postal Unit provides all the same services as regular<br />
USPS stations except for cashing money orders. The employees in the Mail Center are <strong>Barry</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> employees, not USPS personnel.<br />
<strong>University</strong> mailboxes are provided for all students living on campus. Undergraduate<br />
students living off campus may be assigned boxes if available. Box numbers and keys are<br />
available from the Postmaster year round and are assigned on a “first come” basis.<br />
The proper address for any mail/packages intended for <strong>Barry</strong> <strong>University</strong> resident student<br />
mailboxes should be addressed as follows:<br />

If mail is not addressed with campus box number and name as listed on <strong>University</strong><br />
records then mail delivery will be delayed. The <strong>University</strong> mailbox is assigned to one student.<br />
There is no sharing of mailboxes with any other person. All mailboxes are key operated. Mail<br />
will not be distributed from a mailbox by the mailroom staff without authorization of the<br />
Postmaster. Anyone in possession of the key has full access to your mailbox. Duplication of<br />
mailbox keys is not permitted. Lost or stolen keys must be reported to the Postmaster<br />
immediately to help protect your mail. A fee will be charged for replacement of lost or stolen<br />
keys. Any tampering or suspected theft of mail should be reported as soon as observed.<br />
Damaged or opened mail should be shown to the Postmaster prior to leaving the mailroom<br />
area.<br />
Package Pick-up<br />
When a package is received at the <strong>Barry</strong> <strong>University</strong> mailroom, the staff will place a natice in<br />
the student's mailbox. Only the person to whom the package is address can take possession of<br />
the parcel. Positive ID (<strong>Barry</strong> ID or drivers license) must be shown to receive a package.<br />
Packages are available for pick-up from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.<br />
Privacy Policy<br />
To protect the privacy of the mailbox holder, the mailroom staff is not permitted to give any<br />
information about mail or packages, either, over the phone or to anyone without the proper<br />
