Quick Wrench<br />
To attach or remove downhole tools, use quick wrench to join or break the joint.<br />
Moving tools will injure or kill. Shut off drill string power when anyone can<br />
be struck by moving or thrown tools. Never use pipe wrenches on drill string.<br />
IMPORTANT: Apply TJC to threads and hand-tighten joint before attaching quick wrench components to<br />
tighten joint.<br />
Attach quick wrench in either the join or break position.<br />
Join<br />
Break<br />
• Unbolt vise (1) and place jaws around pipe.<br />
• Bolt jaws of vise together.<br />
• Place jaw (2) around pipe.<br />
• Pin handles (3) to wrench jaws. Be sure handles are both up.<br />
• Attach pivot nuts (4) to wrench handles so that screw drive handle (5) is over joint.<br />
