2. Engine throttle control To increase engine speed,<br />
push up.<br />
To decrease engine speed,<br />
pull down.<br />
3. Fluid flow control To increase flow, turn<br />
counterclockwise.<br />
To decrease flow, turn<br />
clockwise.<br />
To stop flow, turn all the way<br />
clockwise.<br />
4. Carriage control To move carriage forward,<br />
push.<br />
To move carriage backward,<br />
pull.<br />
To rotate spindle<br />
counterclockwise (breakout),<br />
move right.<br />
To rotate spindle clockwise<br />
(makeup), move left.<br />
5. Wrench control To clamp front wrench and<br />
shut off drilling fluid, move<br />
toward pipebox.<br />
To unclamp front wrench,<br />
move away from pipebox.<br />
To clamp and rotate rear<br />
(rotating) wrench, move<br />
toward engine compartment.<br />
To unclamp rear (rotating)<br />
wrench, move toward seat.<br />
6. Pipe lubricator control<br />
(optional)<br />
To apply joint compound at<br />
front wrench, press button.<br />
IMPORTANT: <strong>Manual</strong>ly apply joint<br />
compound at carriage.<br />
