Startup/10 Hour<br />
Check Hydraulic Fluid Level<br />
Check hydraulic fluid level before startup and every<br />
10 hours of operation. Maintain fluid level at<br />
halfway point on sight glass (2) when engine is off<br />
and fluid is cool. Add THF at hydraulic fluid fill (1)<br />
as necessary.<br />
Check Pipe Auto Lubricator Spray<br />
Nozzle (Optional)<br />
Check pipe auto lubricator spray nozzle before<br />
startup and every 10 hours of operation. Ensure<br />
that nozzle is free of obstructions and operates<br />
properly. Clean as needed.<br />
NOTICE: <strong>Ditch</strong> <strong>Witch</strong> tool joint compound is<br />
specially formulated to work with <strong>Ditch</strong> <strong>Witch</strong><br />
pipe lubrication system. Use of other tool joint<br />
compounds will clog system. See<br />
“Recommended Lubricants/Service Key” on<br />
page 130 for more information.<br />

(Optional)<br />
Check pipe auto lubricator TJC level before startup<br />
and every 10 hours of operation. Change cartridge<br />
as needed. See “Change Lubricator TJC Tube” on<br />
page 147 for procedure.<br />
