Lift<br />

Lift<br />

This machine is not configured for lifting. If the machine must be lifted, load machine into a container or<br />

onto a platform appropriate for lifting. See “Specifications” on page 151 for weight of machine.<br />

Haul<br />

Load<br />

Crushing weight. If load falls or moves it could kill or crush you. Use<br />

proper procedures and equipment or stay away.<br />

NOTICE:<br />

• Load and unload trailer on level ground.<br />

• Verify that trailer wheels are blocked.<br />

• Incorrect loading can cause trailer swaying.<br />

• Attach trailer to vehicle before loading or unloading.<br />

• Ten to fifteen percent of total vehicle weight (equipment plus trailer) must be on tongue to help<br />

prevent trailer sway.<br />

1. Start drilling unit engine.<br />

2. Move drilling unit to rear of trailer and align with ramps.<br />

3. Slow engine to low throttle and slowly drive unit onto trailer.<br />

4. Lower drill frame and stabilizer to trailer floor. Keep tracks fully on trailer floor.<br />

5. Stop engine when unit is safely positioned on trailer bed.<br />

6. Attach tiedowns to drilling unit where indicated on page 69.<br />
