As Needed<br />
Check Track Tension and Condition<br />
Check track tension and condition and adjust or<br />
replace as needed. See your <strong>Ditch</strong> <strong>Witch</strong> dealer for<br />
replacement parts.<br />
To adjust, turn bolt (1) clockwise to tighten and<br />
counterclockwise to loosen. Track tension is correct<br />
when dimension A is approximately 2.25” (57 mm).<br />
Adjust Fan Belt<br />
Adjust fan belt as needed.<br />
1. Turn off engine and remove key.<br />
2. Apply moderate thumb pressure to belt<br />
between pulleys where shown.<br />
Belt is properly tensioned when deflection is<br />
about 1/4-3/8” (6-10 mm).<br />
3. If needed, loosen alternator bolts (1,2) and<br />
pull alternator out until correct tension is<br />
reached.<br />
