Chapter 15 - Modem Namespace
modem.protocol.supertag.physical.sensitivity
This variable sets an adaptive threshold for tag detection relative to the
noise floor. Decreasing sensitivity from higher to lower may improve read
rates at closer range at the expense of sensitivity.
modem.radio.idle_cw
When the read is idle and not talking to tags, the reader can either transmit
CW or can turn RF off. If idle_cw is set to True, the reader will transmit CW
when it is idle.
modem.radio.rf_survey
This function performs a spectrum analysis at the current frequency. The
results are scaled to account for all system gains. The parameters are:
rbw - Resolution bandwidth
span - Frequency span
coherent - Enable coherent scaling
center_freq – Specifies center frequency. If not specified, the current
frequeny is used.
output_freq – Specifies output frequency. If not specified, all
frequencies will be returned.
