Chapter 18 - Events Namespace event.error.communication This event indicates that the reader detected a communication error. Type Permissions Return Values event guest=rw,admin=rw id (int) time (string) text (string) Error IOP_IPRC_TIMEOUT IOP_IPRC_CRC_ERROR IOP_CONMGR_INVALID_ CMDRESP_FD IOP_CONMGR_INVALID_ EVENT_FD IOP_EVENT_INVALID_FORMAT IOP_SPI_NO_ANSWER IOP_SPI_BAD_VERIFY Description Communication to modem processor timed out. May see at bootup, since modem processor may take a few seconds to boot. Communication from modem processor had a CRC error. May see at bootup, since extra bytes are sent from modem processor during its boot squence. Command channel being closed but no channel data exists. Event channel being closed but no channel data exists. Error event was generated but could not be parsed by the internal error handler. Cannot communicate with the SPI FLASH. Verification of data in SPI FLASH failed. MDM_L1_TX_PACKET_TIMEOUT Lowest level physical layer transmit process timed out. MDM_IPRC_CRC_ERROR Modem has received communication from main processor which fails CRC check. The firmware file to be written to the SPI FLASH does not appear to be in the proper hex format. event.error.hw This event indicates that the reader detected an error condition with the hardware. Type Permissions Return Values event guest=rw,admin=rw id (int) time (string) text (string) Error IOP_HB_MODEM_NOT_RESPONDING MDM_FPGA_IMAGE_ERROR MDM_FPGA_TIMEOUT_WARNING MDM_FPGA_TIMEOUT_FAILURE MDM_RF_VOLTAGE_FAULT Description Modem not responding to keepalives from main processor. FPGA Image memory map doesn't align with firmware map. Timeout waiting on FPGA SPI bus. PPI bus stopped unexpectedly RF subsystem voltage below acceptable level. (May be seen when unit powered off.)
