Obstetrics, Fetal Medicine, and Minimal Access
Gynaecology Surgery, Women’s Health Education
and Awareness.
Obstetrics
a) Pathophysiology of Pregnancy
Professor M. Ezimokhai is interested in Pathophysiology of
Pregnancy and medical disorder in Pregnancy. Expertise is in
working with vascular and uterine smooth muscles.
b) Fetal Medicine
Dr. H. Mirghani’s major area of research interest is
• Fetal response to maternal fasting and maternal blood glucose
• Research interest in Fetal changes in GDM.
• Interest in ultrasound training and assessment. We have
demonstrated for the first time the use of cumulative sum
(CUSUM) analysis in assessing trainees’ proficiency at fetal
biometry measurements.
• Fetal anomalies
