MEDA 145 Media in America<br />

MEDA 212 The Western Movie<br />

MEDA 213 Studios, Stars, and Spectacle in Hollywood’s Golden Age, 1930-1950<br />

MEDA 233 Film & Gender<br />

MEDA 235 Screen Comedy and Clowns<br />

MEDA 251 European Trends in Film<br />

MEDA 295 Topics in Film<br />

MEDA 397 Independent Study<br />

In addition, students are required to take 3 courses (9 credits) from the following courses:<br />

MEDA/SPCM 246 Elements of Theatre<br />

MEDA/SPCM 262 Intro. to Acting<br />

MEDA/SPCM 282 Play Directing<br />

And three courses (nine credits) from English Literature 200 and above<br />

Students are allowed to take 12 credits of open electives.<br />
