IASP 440 Audit/Compliance:<br />

This course reviews the critical skills and methodologies used to ensure compliance to public<br />

and private sector regulatory requirements. This course covers how to facilitate internal and<br />

external audit requirements, ensuring proper levels of controls, both IT and process level.<br />

Prerequisite: <strong>College</strong> Algebra-Math116 and Statistics-Math/ECON122. 3 sem hrs. 3 crs.<br />

IASP 460 Wireless Network and Security:<br />

This course introduces various wireless network protocols, access modes, wireless devices,<br />

management tools and security risks. This course will give students technical background of<br />

wireless networks, and discuss the security risk and management tools. Prerequisite: CISC257.<br />

3 sem hrs. 3 crs.<br />

IASP 475 Senior Project in Information Security:<br />

This is a projects-oriented course. Students work in teams of 3 or 4 on a project chosen from a<br />

list of projects proposed by our industry partners, <strong>Mercy</strong> community (such as Library, CST)<br />

or faculty. Teams will work closely with their mentor in a timely manner. All projects are<br />

designed to be completed in one semester. Each student team will create a project proposal,<br />

provide check mark for the progress of the project, and use project management tool to track<br />

the implementation and completion of the project work over the course of the semester.<br />

Prerequisite: Finish at least six of eight 300-level courses and two of four 400-level courses. 3<br />

sem hrs. 3 crs.<br />

International Business<br />

INBU 250 (ECON 250) International Business:<br />

An introduction to international business. Topics include the international environment,<br />

international trade, foreign direct investment, foreign exchange, regional economic integration,<br />

the role of the multinational corporation, and business strategies. Prepares students for a<br />

changing world. Prerequisite: ENGL 110. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.<br />

INBU 370 (POLS 370) International Relations:<br />

The international system. Topics include historical background, East-West and North-South<br />

conflicts, international organizations, economic power, environmental issues, nongovernmental<br />

organizations, international law and diplomacy, negotiation, war, military power, disarmament,<br />

regionalism and integration, and ideology. Case studies are used to illuminate problems.<br />

Prerequisite: ENGL 110. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.<br />

INBU 375 (MKTG 375) International Marketing:<br />

The international dimensions of marketing. Topics include the international environment of<br />

international marketing, international market research, product adaptation, pricing strategies,<br />

promotion, channels of distribution, and marketing organization. Focus is first on export<br />

marketing and then on multinomial marketing. Prerequisite: MKTG 220, ECON/INBU 250.<br />

3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.<br />

INBU 380-381 Cooperative Education in International Business, I and II:<br />

This course is designed to link college with the world of work by assisting students to obtain<br />

meaningful, academically relevant work experiences directly related to their career goals.<br />

Possible placement sites for students in International Business include corporations and small<br />

businesses. Students' professional development is enhanced through meetings with a faculty<br />

advisor and structured assignments based on the work experience. Cooperative Education<br />

office approval required. Open Elective credit only.<br />

INBU 399 Internship in International Business:<br />

Students majoring in business are given an opportunity to supplement classroom learning<br />

with on-the-job experience. The Division assists students in finding appropriate compensated
