1255 Based on DAL’s advice in its response to <strong>Ombudsman</strong> investigation notice, 24 February 2005, that during the review period it loaded<br />

831 DNA profiles from suspects onto the DNA database.<br />

1256 Our audit included 14 samples which police records indicated were volunteers, but of these DAL had 8 recorded as volunteers, 5 as<br />

victims and 1 could not be identified.<br />
