Indal offers innovative LED lighting solutions with an added value, not only from the point of view of
functionality, costs and efficiency, but also focused on product design and aesthetics. Observing and
complying with the latest quality controls and the most demanding certifications, our objective is to offer
the best LED solution for a lighting project with the best lighting performance, the largest energy saving and
corresponding reduction of the harmful CO 2
emissions and most attractive design that fits every public space.
REVOLED and RETROLED technology for sustainability
REVOLED is our own LED technology that we only implement in newly designed LED luminaires by an integral
sealed-for-life concept. RETROLED is used in existing luminaires where we incorporate a LED-engine or offer
a retrofit kit solution, like some of the luminaires in this catalogue. Both technologies contain:
• High-power quality LED’s that produces the most efficient, uniform and comfortable white light with
superb colour rendering that improves the visibility.
• DIRECTA lenses for high optical efficiency and accuracy. DIRECTA is lens and LED together integrated
in the housing with no additional cover required. The result is high luminaire efficiency up to 95%. That’s 10
to 25% more efficient than conventional lighting solutions. DIRECTA also allows you to direct the very
small LEDs with extreme accuracy, ensuring the best and most efficient lighting solution.
In the case of REVOLED we have an additional important feature: COO-LED for an increased life time
of the LED’s. COO-LED delivers superior temperature control by combining low-current LED’s with a large
cooling surface. COO-LED ensures the highest LED efficiency, but also provides an extremely long system
life time. With REVOLED you have the highest performance and highest energy and CO 2
savings up to 60%
versus conventional lighting sources.
A world of solutions
In order to offer solutions for different applications, minimise light pollution and distribute the light
precisely where you need it, several lens-optics are available for our LED products: narrow lens, standard
road or area lens, wide road or area lens, pedestrian crossing lens and ME 5/6 Class road or area lens.
The lenses are extremely efficient and ensure minimum loss of lumen due to the integrated combination
of the lens and LED (light output ratio more than 90%).
Indal LED lighting solutions are available in all popular mounting versions: post top, side entry, pendant,
wall mounting, suspended and floodlighting. To meet different photometric requirements, various LED
configurations can be chosen. Besides these standard LED configurations, Indal offers on request other
LED configurations if required for a specific lighting project. The high quality LED’s are very powerful and
in combination with Indal’s range of LED optics, make it possible to work with versatile lumen packages.
Moreover our LED luminaires are available in three white light colours, Warm White, Neutral White and Cool
White. In the case of specific requirements on more or less wattage or achieving greater column spacing our
LED luminaires can be driven at different currents; 250mA, 350mA, 500mA and 700mA.
Thus with this diversity, Indal can provide customised LED lighting solutions for every lighting project.
