Bir-Hakeim - Created to be pendant under the archways of Bir-Hakeim bridge, this version of the Parvis
luminaire offers the advantage of clearing the pedestrian area and creating a carpet of uniform light without
any shadow. Specially requested by the City of Paris, a beaded chain, which surrounds the bowl and was used
to maintain it at the time, is now purely decorative. Perceived as integral with the bridge, the Bir-Hakeim
luminaire accentuates its slender design. At night, this impression is reinforced by the lighting, the metal
pillars appear thinner. Combined with a floodlight illuminating the assembly principle of the elements of the
bridge, Bir-Hakeim accompanies night-time walkers with its warm, reassuring safe lighting. The Bir-Hakeim
luminaire also lights the Bercy bridge in Paris.
