2.2.2 Review and Improvement
Any user of this document who encounters a mistake or confusing entry is requested to
immediately notify the Document Custodian. Any vessel may pass such issues to SEIC
via the Loading Master at the terminal.
This document shall be reviewed as necessary by the Document Custodian at SEIC, but
at least once every 3 years. Triggers for full or partial review may include:
• Emerging/growing HSE concerns in specific areas.
• Incident investigations which identify shortfalls in this procedure.
• Changing Company activities and locations.
• New hazards or activities not considered in this procedure.
• Introduction of new legislation or rules and regulations.
3 Responsibilities
3.1 SEIC Logistics Manager
The SEIC Logistics Manager is accountable for all logistics activities conducted with Sakhalin
Energy including contracted marine services.
3.2 SEIC Marine Manager
The SEIC Marine Manager is responsible for the management of all marine activities on behalf
of the Company, and for monitoring compliance with these procedures. He is also responsible
for encouraging compliance by liaison visits to the Tanker Loading Unit and LNG terminal
facilities, service providers, SEIC contractors, operators and vessels. He will arrange for liaison
visits and audits to ensure compliance with Shell Group standards.
For visiting vessels the point of contact will be via the Loading Master or the terminal
communications address.
